Boom Butik Creator Club terms

These are the terms for Boom Butik Creator Club, where you earn money when others shop with your code.

1. Who can join

Boom Butik Creator Club is for the creators we have invited. Boom Butik makes your personal code, and you find it when you log in to Boom Butik Creator Club.

You must be 18 or over. If you are between 15 and 17, you can join if your parents say yes. We may ask for this to be confirmed before we pay money into your bank account.

2. Your code

Customers get 10 % off the items with your code. The code works on boombutik.com, and it does not apply to gift cards.

Codes cannot be combined. If a customer adds more than one code to the basket, the newest one applies.

3. Commission

You earn 10 % of what the customer pays for the items after the discount, excluding VAT and shipping. Gift cards do not count. You earn commission on every purchase made with your code.

Your own purchases do not earn commission. Items added to the order after the purchase do not earn commission either.

An example: if a customer shops for €50 with your code, they pay €45. Without VAT (25 % in this example) that is €36, and you earn €3.60.

4. Pending and returns

Your commission is pending for 30 days from the purchase, because customers can return items. After that you can have it paid out.

Returns and refunds are taken off your commission. If you have already been paid, we take the amount off what you earn later.

5. Payout

You can have your money paid to your bank account (IBAN) from €25. Gift cards in euro are not available yet. When they are, you can choose a Boom Butik gift card from €10 instead and get 25 % extra.

For a payout to your bank account we need your full name and your IBAN, and your BIC if you have it. The bank account must be in a country in the EU or SEPA. We store your details encrypted, and they are never shown again. Afterwards you only see your name and the last four characters of your IBAN.

6. Tax

Commission is taxable income, and it is your own responsibility to report it in the country where you pay tax. We will contact you if we need any information from you.

7. Ads

It is your responsibility to mark posts with your code or your link as an ad, as the law requires. Write "Ad" clearly at the very start of your post or video, every time you share your code or your link.

8. Your videos

Boom Butik may share your videos on our own channels and use them in our marketing, including ads. These are the same terms that apply when you apply to become a creator.

9. Pausing and ending

Boom Butik can pause your code, for example in case of misuse or if the code is shared on discount code sites. You can still have the commission you have already earned paid out.

10. Your data

We store your name, your email, your code and your sales figures. If you want money paid into your bank account, we also store your bank details (see section 5). You never see the customer's name or email, only how many have used your code and what you have earned. Read more in our privacy policy.
