We only collect personal data in cases where it is relevant to us, and we only collect personal data if it is relevant to your activity with Boom Butik. When collecting, processing and using your personal data, we always comply with all relevant legal provisions.

We only store your personal data for as long as we are either under a legal obligation to do so, or for as long as it is relevant to the purpose for which it was collected.

Information we collect
If you wish to purchase and receive a product from us, we need to collect certain personal data in order to complete the transaction. We may use cookies to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart while you use our webshop.

We may collect information such as name, email address, postal address, delivery address (if it differs from the postal address), telephone number and payment details.

Boom Butik collects and processes your personal data when you do the following:

- Visit our website
- Complete a purchase of our products
- Sign up for our newsletter
- Send us questions, complaints or feedback

The data controller
The data controller responsible for the collection, processing and use of your personal data on boombutik.dk is Boom Butik ApS, Blågårdsgade 14, st. 1, 2200 Copenhagen N, CVR no. 44150875.

Legal basis and purpose of processing
We collect your general contact details such as name and address in order to deliver the product or service you have purchased from us. We collect your email address in order to send you an order confirmation and a delivery confirmation.

When you pay for your product or service, we collect your name, your card details and IP address. The information collected in connection with the payment transaction is used and stored solely for settling the payment and fulfilling the agreement entered into. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed on to Shopify Payments, including information necessary to complete or support the payment, such as the total purchase amount and billing information.

If, during the registration process or on our website, you have given us your consent to do so, we use your email address to send out a newsletter. You can subscribe to and unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Every newsletter also contains an unsubscribe link. If the processing of personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.

If you do not wish to provide the personal data required to complete a purchase of a product, you will unfortunately not be able to buy products from us on our website.

Other recipients of personal data
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not transfer your personal data to third countries.

Our website is hosted with Shopify and our payment system runs through Shopify Payments, which acts as our data processor. All personal data you provide on our website will be stored in Shopify's data centres.

We use external companies as suppliers in order to provide our services in the best possible way. These external suppliers are data processors and in some cases process personal data in connection with their provision of services to us. Our data processors only process personal data on our instructions and in accordance with the legal requirements for data processors.

We have entered into data processing agreements with our data processors, which is our guarantee that they comply with applicable rules on the protection of your personal data.

Your rights
As the data subject, you have a number of rights that we must ensure are upheld at all times. You have the right to request the following from us:

- To access and have your personal data corrected/changed
- To have personal data deleted

You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

Google Maps address suggestions

When you type in the checkout address field, the entered address text and selected country are sent to Google Maps Platform to show address suggestions and complete the delivery address. Google processes this information according to the Google Privacy Policy.

Optional cookies and session recordings

If you accept optional cookies, we use Google Ads, Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, and PostHog to measure advertising, understand visits, cart, checkout and post-purchase offers, and improve the shop. PostHog may record a masked representation of the session; all page text, input values and element attributes are masked. These services are not activated before you accept, and you can reject them in the cookie popup.
