Hope you're doing well.
I'm so glad you've wandered onto our little page. By now quite a few people end up in here for one reason or another, so I'm finally going to pull myself together and write a quick text about what kind of strange business this is. In case anyone, against all odds, should be interested in finding out.
If you're the more visual type, the kind who prefers magazines with really big pictures and not too terribly much text, then I've dug out some photos and written a little note for each one. That way you can chew your way through the material too.
But otherwise I'll just start from the beginning. I'll try not to ramble on too long!
It started when I was bored during the first corona lockdown and felt like doing a bit of fresh business. At the same time I was totally hooked on Fruit of the Loom's joggers and wore them every day. Suddenly I got the idea to order some clothes in and sell them on Insta.

Here I'm setting off on one of my first rounds delivering orders. Ambitious packing!
My grandma was the first model, and she's still my favourite model 🌞
My friends were sweet about supporting my little business, like Karen 🐶
Back when I was still young and fresh 💭
Got my ride upgraded thanks to my friend Christian, who runs Banana CPH (they make insanely delicious vegan ice cream!) 🍌
Got invited to breakfast when I was delivering to my cousins ☕️

I called the Insta Fruit of the Boom, which later turned into our current cute name. You could just drop a DM and place an order, and then I'd cycle around Copenhagen with the clothes. I didn't dare charge that much for them, so back then the prices were actually eeeven lower than they are today.
Loads of my friends supported the little business, and many were also super sweet about sending me lovely photos I could post. It was all just for the fun of it, and I hope you can still feel that when you visit our website or Insta profile, even though it's become a real job.
It was a really lovely summer, but eventually it also got pretty stressful having stock at home and having to get around with the parcels after school and all that. So I built a website and teamed up with a company that could handle shipping the orders. I also hired a couple of good friends.

My cousin Poul, who's a racing cyclist, helped me deliver some parcels 🌪️
We started getting some other random items on the shelves, like the gorgeous cutlery from Acme 🍴
We also made merch for Fresh Kebab in Copenhagen NV, owned by my friend Abbas 🌯
Bought a really sweet little 1997 Peugeot to transport goods. Sadly it's been scrapped since, and I miss it a lot ❤️🩹
The house model struck again, though with a mask on this time ...
My dad helped renovate my flat, and I supplied the workwear 🛠️
At the same time we started making some cool merch, for instance for the local kebab shop and my friend's lunch restaurant. We also started getting some new and really random items in the shop, like lamps, wine glasses and the odd book.
We've also had all sorts of other projects running that I can't even be bothered to start listing. And we'll probably keep getting new, random ideas. But hopefully you can still feel that the shop is a passion project run by a bunch of good friends.

My cousin Camilla and her friend Rikke made the loveliest podcast for us, but sadly it got shut down for employment-law reasons 😭
Was in Tisvilde selling merch for my uncle's band Røde Far. Strong socialist music 🌶️
We celebrated hiring Gustav "Construction" with crémant in the sun in front of the space 🥂

We got to stock the most beautiful designer lamps. Here my friend Astrid lies in a striking outfit, making the most of the lamp's light 🗞️
